Dear Cherished Friends,
As we joyfully enter into the Christmas season, our hearts are filled with excitement. Undoubtedly, this is the most wonderful time of the year—a time when we gather with friends and family to commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the midst of this season, our desire is for our entire family to experience the fullness of God. Our fervent prayer is for a revival to sweep through our families, aligning with the promise in 1 John 5:14-15; “If we ask anything according to his will… He hears us.” I realize that the key to family revival begins with me.That means being the carrier of the peace of God for my family. In John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." In faith, I declare that Jesus is the Lord over our homes. Our promise is from Isaiah 54:13 NIV: "All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace." By faith, I’m believing for an increase of love in our family circles, as described in Proverbs 18:24b, love which sticks closer than a brother. As indicated in 1 Corinthians 13 the God-kind of love never fails. I decree and declare that all my children are walking in truth and the truth is setting them free. (3 John 4:4). That we honor and esteem eachother highly as described in Ephesians 6. In this season we are declaring divine miracles in every area of your life. Socially, emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually. May these blessings be the most cherished Christmas gift any of us could ever receive. Dear Friends, When you hear the word "alignment," you think of things being made straight, circumstances being set right, and our lives getting organized and put together. As I was reading the Word this morning, the Holy Spirit spoke to me these two words: stability and alignment. He led me to Isaiah 33:6, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD is His treasure.” As I spent time with the Lord for clear direction, He continued to remind me of the importance of committing my ways to Him and acknowledging Him in all my ways. He will align my path and the direction of where He wants me to go. The Bible says in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.” As we are living in a world of perilous times, we are in awe of the importance of knowing God's purpose and plan for our lives. Many times it's easy for us to feel like we are too young, too old or we've missed it, but God reminds us over and over again that He has a plan and a purpose for our lives. There is no "best if used by date" when it comes to the promises of God. There is no such thing as missing it, not being qualified, or being too young or too old to fulfill the purpose for which we were created. Just ask Mary, Sarah, David, Elizabeth, and more. God specializes in using highly unlikely people to fulfill His purposes—people that others overlook, disregard, dismiss, or ignore. It brings God greater glory. You're not finished; you're not done, and it's not over. Keep pressing, keep reaching, keep going because God is worthy of every ounce of energy expended for His glory on this earth. Your lives play a crucial role in His divine plan. Your dedication and service are not in vain. Remember, as you align your work with the Lord's purposes, He will continue to guide and bless your efforts abundantly. Your donations to MMM are continuing to make a lasting impact for His kingdom. Thank you once again for being an integral part of this movement, making all things possible. Stay connected with us on FB, YT, and www.marilynmurrayministries.com. We look forward to continuing this journey with you. Wishing all of you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving and a joyous time as we look forward to our upcoming Christmas and New Years. Blessings to you all. Marilyn Hello Dear Friends,
Have you ever felt like life's challenges are piling up, making you feel overwhelmed and discouraged? I'm pretty sure we've all been there, facing things that seem too much to handle. Anxiety and worry can try to consume us. The power of Jesus in our lives helps us to conquer fear, guilt, insecurity, and worry. God’s grace gives us his incredible strength. His force is made up of peace, confidence, love, and courage, and there are so many more attributes we can have from our relationship with Jesus. I will never forget when our son was 3 months old and had been sick with the croup. We had been up for 3 days and nights with our baby boy. All of a sudden there was a knock on the door and it was my husband's parents. They immediately came in and took our son and began to walk and pray with our baby and then sent us to bed so we could sleep. We drifted off for a couple of hours. When we awoke we found our baby completely healed and sleeping soundly. What a relief it was to not only have parents that cared but to see the supernatural power of God heal our son's body and restore him to complete health. What a testament of God’s peace and grace. In Philippians 4:13 reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Confessing God's word is so vital and powerful; it helps us to command fear to be under our feet. His perfect love casts out all fear (2 Timothy 1:7). God will not give you more than you can handle. (1 Corinthians 10:13). And let's not forget Romans 8:28—God can turn things around for our good when we love Him and walk with Him. Know this dear one, that as we walk hand in hand with God, He will honor us and shower us with His favor. In every step we take, in every corner of our lives, His goodness and grace will prevail, as glory is given to Him. He is faithful, continually pouring out His love into every area of our lives. God’s key to living free of anxiety and worry is to walk in His peace and grace. It’s hard to have peace if we don’t understand His grace. God’s grace is His unmerited favor. This is why Paul continued to say grace and peace be multiplied because he didn’t want the church to be full of fear and anxiety. I hope this message finds you well. Life can be unpredictable, and at times we all have experienced being robbed in some form or another. It can be a devastating feeling when our finances, jobs, or opportunities are taken away from us. However, I want to share with you an inspiring story from 1 Samuel 30 about David and his men that I believe will encourage you during this time. David and his men had just returned from war to find their city burned and their wives and children kidnapped. Can you imagine the horror of coming home from war to find everything plundered and taken? The men wept so hard they had no more strength left, and the first thing they wanted to do was blame David and kill him. Despite his own loss, David did two things that should encourage us all. First, he encouraged himself in the Lord. The Bible says that “David found strength in the Lord his God.” So if you find yourself in a similar situation, remember to encourage yourself in the Lord as well. The second thing David did was seek the Lord’s guidance. He called the priest and asked to put on the ephod to inquire of the Lord. David specifically asked if he should pursue the enemy and if he would overtake them if he did. God answered clearly and told David to pursue them, assuring him that he would succeed in rescuing his family. David and his 600 men pursued the enemy, even though they were already exhausted from the previous war. 200 of them could not continue, so they stayed behind and rested while the other 400 pursued. God used a slave they found in the field to help David and his men, and they eventually recovered everything that was taken. The lesson here is that God wants us to encourage ourselves in Him and seek His guidance when we are faced with difficult situations. He will give us clear instructions and help us recover everything the enemy has stolen from us. So, take heart and trust in the Lord during this season. Remember that nothing is missing and nothing is broken in our lives because God is redeeming the time. Let’s hold on to hope and keep pressing forward with faith. It's the start of a new year and what better way to kick things off than with a declaration of abundant blessings for you this year! Scripture tells us that when we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all other things will be added unto us. As we pursue Him, we can trust that He is faithful to fulfill His promises. In John 15:12-13 the Word of God says; "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." What an incredible reminder that God's love is so much greater than anything we could ever imagine. Let us keep our gaze fixed on Him and trust in His unfailing love. Do you want to see the incredible power of God released in your life? Then start putting the love commandment in action. Start loving those around you today. When we show love and kindness to those around us, we tap into a source of divine power that can transform our lives and unlock so many opportunities for us. I hope this newsletter finds you doing well this Holiday Season. I’ve been thinking about the holidays and how we gather with family and friends to celebrate the message of hope and the birth of Christ. In the world right now, we may feel like we are constantly surrounded by hopelessness, but we have the power to change that, by showing kindness, love, and hope to others, we can be God's extended hand and make a difference. The sacrificial birth of Jesus sends a message of hope that can change people's lives. We must never lose sight of that hope, or let it fade in our lives or those around us. This Christmas season, may you experience the joy and hope of giving to others. May we all be touched by the light of Christ’s love and be inspired by his message of hope. I am reminded of one Christmas story with my parents. My father was serving as a pastor in a small church in WY. That Christmas we weren't able to travel back home to OK for the holidays. My family was very homesick. On Christmas morning there was a knock at the door while our mother was preparing breakfast. As my father opened the door, he found an elderly gentleman standing there in the snow. The man wanted to wish our family a Merry Christmas. My kind father invited him in to share breakfast with us. The gentlemen spent all day with our family enjoying the Christmas festivities. At the end of the day, he thanked us for our hospitality and left. My father saw he had forgotten something behind and went after him. When daddy opened the door there was no one outside. There were no footprints in the knee-deep snow. It was as if the man had never been there. We knew a Christmas angel had visited us that day. This experience gave my parents great comfort and hope. This holiday season you may be dealing with hopelessness yourself. The Bible says in Romans 15:13 TPT “Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” I pray this Christmas that God’s hope, love, and joy will flow abundantly through you this holiday season to shine God’s light on others. I want to personally thank you for your continued financial support. You truly are a part of a meaningful movement for the kingdom of God. MMM can minister locally and globally in multiple avenues due to your generosity. Stay connected with us on FB, YT, and www.marilynmurrayministries.com. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, Marilyn PS.
