Dear Precious Partners,

Thanksgiving is a time of reflection, appreciation and being grateful for all that God has done in our lives. I am reminded of one of my favorite songs; “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart” by Don Moen. It is a perfect union of a grateful heart and thanksgiving as the songs melody repeats the significance of this lovely meaning.

I am writing you today with gratefulness in my heart. Each one of us has a daily choice to choose to have an attitude of gratefulness.  I will never forget a Sunday night as I walked into church with a broken heart.  I quickly searched the audience hoping my grandmother was in the service.  There she was sitting close to the front of the church.  As she made room for me to sit by her... she loving put her arms around me and I instantly felt liquid love drip into my broken heart.  It began to open up my heart to the love of God and I was able to begin to receive Gods healing and restoration. I was so grateful for my grandmother at that moment in time. Without her unconditional love and support I might not have been able to begin to receive Gods healing that night.

As we quickly enter the Thanksgiving festivities we realize the important of family and friends. The importance of sharing and caring for one another just as my grandmother exhibited that special night for me.  Gods’s word says in 1 Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” As I continue to pray for you I will pray with thanksgiving and will continue to make my request known unto God and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)  

This Thanksgiving season let’s purpose in our hearts to carry the gospel of peace. Peace brings joy, hope, provision, health, love, favor and understanding. Let’s be magnets and carry peace to others in our lives. Look for opportunities during this season.
