Dear Friends,
Do you want to know the secret to a life of freedom?! It says in John 15:5 TPT “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” When I decide to use my vacuum cleaner it is of no use to me until I take the main plug and plug it into the main source of power, electricity. Then I am able to flip the switch which causes the vacuum cleaner to be used for what it was created to be used for. So it is the same in our personal life spiritually. We need to daily plug into the vine, Jesus Christ, who is the source of our power. As it says, Jesus is the vine and we must remain in him so that we can bear much fruit so we can be used by God more effectively for His Kingdom. Signs and wonders will follow the believer. The bible says in Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” When we don’t stay connected to the vine, Jesus Christ, we will become lukewarm. God does not want that for us. A lukewarm Christian is aimlessly walking in life with no clear direction, accomplishing nothing, just going in circles. In Revelation 3:16 It says “But because you are neither cold nor hot, but lukewarm, I am about to spit you from my mouth.” God wants us to stay connected to him, our true source of power. Let’s agree in prayer for one another that we are filled with the fire of God and walking in the fullness of God's love, found lacking nothing. Thank you for your faithful support and love offerings. Know that as you continue to give, God is a God of His Word! He will create a mighty harvest from the seeds you sow. Because of your seed, we’re able to continue to minister in local churches, inspiring conferences and in our powerful Women Warriors ministry. We are reaching out through missions, saving the lives of children from sex trafficking, helping those who are homeless, counseling and providing education for children in Honduras. Staying connected to the vine. Love, Marilyn

Dear Amazing Partners, I’m so happy you are reading our newsletter today. God has laid on my heart for this October 2020 the power of our words and how significant they are in our lives. Words are a creative force for good or evil. Let’s take a look at the following scriptures: Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Job 22:28 states, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Romans 10:8 it says, “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” An interesting scientific experiment was done with water and the power of our words by Dr. Masaru Emoto proving human words can physically alter the molecular structure of water. Positive words bring life and negative words bring death. I highly recommend you see his experiment and its results with words. We are triune beings made of spirit, soul, and body. They all interact and affect each other and our words then affect every facet of our triune being. This is why it is so important to accept the positive words and reject the negative words spoken in our lives. It is so easy to try quick fixes to make ourselves feel better with things that will only give us temporary results. Positive, encouraging and loving affirmations are vital to help build our spirit, soul and body. And so is speaking Gods words over every area of our lives. "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.” As we continue to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness we will begin to see ourselves in the eyes of God and how he sees us. If our belief system is negative our results will be negative but if our belief systems are positive the results in our lives will be positive. Let us stay Positive! Marilyn Dear Faithful Partners, I want to encourage you with what I feel God is speaking to the body of Christ today from the book of Nehemiah. Here we see a story of God’s mercy and grace over and over again. Nehemiah fervently mourned, fasted and prayed for the wall to be rebuilt in Jerusalem. God called Nehemiah to do four things: return to his first love, reunite the people of God, rebuild the wall, and restore the people of Israel. I believe God is calling us today to do the same thing in our own lives. He wants us to return to our first love. The bible says in Matthew 6:33, “…seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” He is EVERYTHING! In order to reunite the people of Israel they had to begin to live holy lives. Anything that defiled the temple of God had to be cleaned up or moved out. It started in their homes… no idolatry and no compromising. To rebuild the wall Nehemiah posted half the people as guards and half as builders. They all stayed FOCUSED on building the wall and went to work. The wall was built in record time, 52 days. There was great opposition for fear the children of Israel would have security, become self-sufficient, and gain political power to overtake the enemy.Rebuilding the wall was a sign of God’s blessing and proved HE was fulfilling the promise of restoration to his covenant people. Stay FOCUSED on the things of God. If God is for you who can be against you! Don’t give up but keep building a wall of protection and peace around your family, lives, ministries, jobs and our nation. Thank you for your faithful support and love offerings. Know that as you continue to give, God is a God of His Word! He will create a mighty harvest from the seed you sow. He is faithful to perform His word in your life and is mindful of you and everything you need. He is working on your behalf to bring you to a place of victory and freedom! Because of you, we are able to continue to minister in local churches, inspiring conferences and through our powerful Women Warriors ministry. We are reaching out through missions saving the lives of children from sex trafficking, those who are homeless, counseling and providing education for children in Honduras. Let us stay FOCUSED! TOGETHER we are making a difference! Marilyn Dear Faithful Partners
In Deuteronomy 31:6-8 it says; “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Praising God today for the power and authority we have in His Word. It is important that we stand together in unity in the body of Christ praying and supporting each other with our words and actions. If we are unified as believers we are stronger together. As a teenager I remember a game we played in youth camp called tug-a-war. The side that won the game wasn’t the side that had the largest group but the group that was unified in working together in their efforts won. Today we are seeing a lot of turmoil and fear in people’s lives. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” We are called to be unified as believers living in peace not in fear. I encourage you to reach out to each other and continue to be a part of your community. Such as your local church, online ministries, family and friend events, daily reading God's word and spending time in His presence. It could be easy to isolate yourself during this time. However social distancing is not the same as self-isolation. As we use wisdom we can still feel connected to our community, family and friends. This can create healing in our mind, will and emotions. Thank you for your faithful support and love offerings. Because of you, we are able to continue to minister in dynamic local churches, inspiring conferences, and our powerful Women Warriors. We are also reaching through missions such as salvaging the lives of children from sex trafficking, homelessness, counseling and providing education for children in Honduras. Living Inspired, Marilyn Dear Faithful Partners, In the 80’s I was directing a youth choir tour in Dallas, Texas area. My sister Michelle was with me on tour. My brother, Terrell and sister in law, Beverly were living in that area. Terrell had been estranged from the family for several years. Our family tried to reconcile but our efforts ended with no avail. Close to the end of our choir tour I received a phone call from Beverly who was very concerned because she didn’t know where Terrell was. She had miraculously found a phone number where he hopefully might be contacted. Beverly was hoping he might answer my phone call because he was ignoring hers. I immediately called the number and Terrell answered. After talking with Terrell I had an urgency to find him and to find him now. My sister Michelle, a few ladies and I set out to find Terrell that day. I felt a Holy Ghost unction to DO IT NOW, not knowing the dire situation my brother was in. All through the van ride we continued to pray and ask God to help us find Terrell. We had no idea what was about to happen. At the time when GPS wasn’t around we divinely found him. Terrell answered the door when we arrived. We immediately grabbed him and took him to the van with us. Michelle and I began to pray over Terrell and the power of God entered that van. In the spirit I saw a manhole with the light of God shining through it. There was darkness all around it but then I saw the hand of God reaching through the manhole for Terrell to grab his hand. Terrell began to weep and repent before the Lord. He grabbed the hand of God and God rescued and delivered him from the power of darkness that day. My brother was gloriously set free by the power of God. He was set free from a life of addiction. Little did we know Terrell was about to commit suicide right before we came but Gods divine intervention changed the direction of Terrell’s life instantly. I had a DO IT NOW moment. Terrell and Beverly are now evangelist around the world preaching the gospel and setting the captives free. I want you to know the power of God is real. The power of God is now. The power of God is for you. We need to be in the now mode. We need to do it now. Deliverance is now. Holiness is now. Provision is now. Now is the time to act. In the bible it says: “The harvest is ripe but the labourers are few.” (Luke 10:2) Father God is saying choose you now, who you will serve? Precious friends let’s answer the call of God now. Living Inspired, Marilyn PS. Watch Terrell's testimony. Dear Amazing Partners,
I want to share what God has laid on my heart concerning His favor. You may feel like your falling behind, it’s too late to accomplish your dreams and you’ll never get well. What God can do in one moment can accelerate you to where you need to be in life. That is the power of the favor from God. In the bible we read about a man named Joseph who was thrown into a pit by his jealous brothers. He was then sold into slavery and eventually became the second highest ranking position in Egypt. God’s favor positioned him to save the entire world during a time of famine. It became evident that the favor of God was on Joseph’s life. In the world today we are facing a season of chaos and fear due to the COVID-19 virus. We can still trust God for his favor, protection, peace and provision during this time. We do not have to live in fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound well-balanced mind. God’s word says in Psalm 84:11 (MEV) “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give favor and glory, for no good thing will He withhold from the one who walks uprightly.” The favor of God helps to fulfill our purpose in life, it causes us to stand up, be preferred and be chosen. My prayer for you this month is that the power of God’s favor will take you where you can’t go on your own. Thank you for your faithful support and love offerings we are able to continue to minister in local churches, conferences, women’s bible studies, missions such as sex trafficking abuse and homelessness, counseling, young adult ministries, church plants and providing sponsorship education for children in Honduras. Without your generosity this could not be made possible. Blessings, Marilyn 2020 Vision
When I think of 2020 vision I think of being able to see perfectly. The word vision is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination and wisdom. God has created us magnificently by imagining us first and than speaking us into existence; that is amazing! Think of the conveniences we enjoy today such as airplanes, cars, washer and dryers, computers, cell phones, just to name a few. These inventions began with a thought, a vision and a dream than they were manifested over time! 2020 is a year of forward thinking. That means as we change today our tomorrows will begin to bring the fulfillment of our dreams and visions. God doesn’t want us to get stuck in the round abouts of life but move forward in the direction He is leading us. While serving at a local church for over 21 years the choir and I would performed an annual musical. Each year God would give me the theme of the musical. It began with a thought and I would begin to visualize the musical one step at a time. It was inspiring to see how God’s idea turned into a fabulous production that brought glory to Him every year. We can’t change our past or live in the land of regret but we can change today and live in the promises of what God has for us. In Jeremiah 29:11 (TLB) it says “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” and than it tells us how to help bring that to pass in Habakkuk 2:2 (NIV) Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.” I desire God’s vision fulfilled in your life this year. When God told Abraham he would be the father of many nations. He gave him a visual of that promise. He told him to look up at the sky and to see all the stars in the sky. That as many stars that he could see that would be the amount of decedents he would have. Every day he would look at the stars and he was reminded of his future decedents. That vision came to pass. My New Year’s declaration over you is that you would begin to walk in the fullness of God nothing missing and nothing broken. Sharing the Vision, Marilyn Dear Partners, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope this newsletter finds you doing well this Holiday Season. Christmas is a message of hope as we celebrate the birth of Christ. Unfortunately all over the world we are hearing and seeing hopelessness in our communities and the lives of people around us. What can change this? We can change this by being Gods hand extended by showing kindness, love and hope. The sacrificial birth of Jesus gives us that message of hope that can change peoples lives. We must never let the power of hope fade in our lives or those around us. I will never forget the one Christmas I shared with my parents in the small town of Pinebluff, Wyoming. My father was pastoring there and we were not able to go home to Oklahoma for the holidays. Mom and dad were very homesick and my siblings and I missed our grandparents. Suddenly there was a knock at the door while our mother was preparing Christmas breakfast. In those days it was not uncommon for people to stop by the pastors home to say hello. At the door was an elderly gentlemen who was wishing us a Merry Christmas. My father being the kind pastor he was invited him in to share breakfast with us. He ended up spending all day enjoying the Christmas festivities which ministered to our entire family. After the end of the day the gentlemen thanked us for our hospitality and left. My father saw he had left something behind and went after him but when he opened the door their was no one there. There were no foot prints in the knee deep snow. It was as if he was never there. That year our greatest gift to our family was our Christmas angel. This experience gave my parents great comfort and hope. This holiday season you may be dealing with hopelessness yourself. It might be grief of a lost loved one, financial loss, health for your body, lost relationships that need restored but whatever it is, there is hope. The bible says in Romans 15:13 TPT “Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super abundance until you radiate with hope!” This is my Christmas prayer for you that you radiate with the hope of Jesus. That it brings you life, help and wholeness. That you flow in the fullness of God. That you enter 2020 with a renewed hope of what has God called you to do. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with all my love. Marilyn |
